Sin???

Well, call it what you may but Vegas is fun... this sign was the old sign for 'Treasure Island' and they were taken to the Neon Junkyard where the signs from the old, old casinos still are...

The latest piece of news,alot of you know we are adopting a little girl from China.Well, (without getting into detail) the agency in China is about 6 days away from our Log In Date - a date our papers were stamped in China as being 'officially adopting'... well, it could take a few months to get to our date and hopefully we will be travelling to China (who we don't know what she looks like, how old or where she is right now) approx around Jan/Feb - but right now I am super busy with work and getting doctors lined up for her, and tons of other stuff... I will still try to put a photo on every other day... but don't be offended if I can't drop in to say hi... I will when I can cause I enjoy dropping in to say hi to everyone when I can... so bare with me if I don't get to your comments etc and sometimes I may have to put old photos on or nothing... so, I will keep on reading comments but don't want to disappear all together...

@Zygene: There are signs from old casinos still there... casinos that have been gone for a long time...

@Ronnie 2¢: Ohhhhhh... photographer's dream isn't the right word... it is more then that... there is SO much there... some people would think of it as a 'junk yard' but no... a must place to go with the camera if you go to Vegas... though do it in winter as it can get very hot...

@Calusarus: Never thought of that... honestly... I can't quiet recall the old sign... guess I didn't take as much notice of it then but I don't like the new sign of Treasure Island.

@vu@granby Gilles Martineau: Actually... it isn't junk... there is tons of old signs from the old casinos... Golden Nugget, El Dorado, Stardust, (old) Binion's sign, Sahara Hotel etc etc and what they do is hold tours of the signs and tell stories behind them, if TV shows (CSI Vegas) are filmed there they have to pay handsomely to do that and they restore the old signs and put them on the streets of Vegas... they look great... I highly recommend the tour to anyone going to Vegas... it is amazing...
