Grape anyone?

This was taken at a Vineyard in Pahrump in Nevada... yep, there is a vineyard in the middle of the desert... it is like an Oasis... love the colours of the grapes on the vine... all different colours...

Yes, I know that some of the photos are 'big' but I seem to have so much on my plate of doing stuff I wasn't going to mess around with making them smaller...

Well, after having finding out today they are finally up to our month in the adoption and basically 3 days from our date... so, if things go the way they are now... we could hear something by January/February 2010... fingers crossed things keep going smoothly the way they are. Our agency is even sending us papers to get ready for our call... quiet exciting... like I said... our fingers are crossed all keeps going well.

@jamesy: Thanks... I just wanted to sneak one... but knowing my luck someone would have been watching and they would have lost their wine for the year... hehehe

The colors on the grapes are just wonderful. Love them and the DOF is perfect. I'm so glad that you had dinner with Mike and Judy but I am a tad bit the color of some of those grapes. Thanks for dropping in.

@Linerberry: I also loved all the colours... of course I had to look for the prettiest bunch and was hoping no one was watching me walking through the vineyard... hehehe

great shot! those are wonderful colors indeed -- although i bet they are a bit sour! i will just wait for the sparkling wine once it is ready!! have any cheese and crackers til then? ;)

@dj.tigersprout: Actually... I will just take the Crackers and Cheese... I am not a wine drinker... the grapes did look inviting but wouldn't eat them... the Vineyard in the middle of the desert was like an Oasis...

@Zygene: My guess is they are going from unripe to ripened... still a vineyard in the desert was odd.

May I have the One at the very top? If its at all possible it might be interesting to see and photograph a progression series? Ripe, riper and gone. It's just a thought. Ahhh. the top one...

@Rebel Streetshooter: That is a good idea... to get the grapes as they ripen but alas they are in Nevada and I am in Florida... it is a good idea... if I could... I will certainly let you have the top one, in the back, on the left handside, third one back is saved just for you... :)
