Busy Bees

This was taken at a store called Honeyville in Colorado where they make 'everything' Honey... there was even a glass Bee Hive and you could watch the bees doing their thing... of course it was hard to get a 'still' picture but when have you EVER seen a bee being still while it is working... the bee with the dot on it is the Queen... I do like this shot... just so busy... it was fun to watch...

Yes, I know that some of the photos are 'big' but I seem to have so much on my plate of doing stuff I wasn't going to mess around with making them smaller...

Well, after having finding out today they are finally up to our month in the adoption and basically 3 days from our date... so, if things go the way they are now... we could hear something by January/February 2010... fingers crossed things keep going smoothly the way they are. Our agency is even sending us papers to get ready for our call... quiet exciting... like I said... our fingers are crossed all keeps going well.

wow -- swarming bees! beautifully caught! love the golden glow -- they certainly look busy! hope you got some faaabulous honeycomb? yum!

@dj.tigersprout: I never got some of the honeycomb but I did buy some honey there (though had to have it shipped from the store since I don't check through my luggage) and ended up getting Bumbleberry Honey - a whipped honey with Raspberries, Blueberries, Strawberries in it... it is delicious...

The bees are working very hard - well done with the shot. Lovely warm colour. I expect they were quite fun to watch.

@kylie: The honey was simply delicious... they had wines, mustards, jams (jelly to Americans), honeys, candy (sweets/lollies) etc a dentists' delight...
